The Ethical Dilemma Of Humanity - 1455 Words

Humanity faces many ethical dilemmas in their daily lives. The ethical dilemma a person faces on what is morally right or wrong depending on their worldview and their core beliefs. Sometimes in our lives we make the right or wrong decisions, and we later face the consequences that come with it that we are unaware of. Some of the decisions that a person makes, is based on their ethical dilemma, and can significantly affect their future emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. One example of an ethical dilemma that could be hard on any women, is whether she should abort a child or not, due to being diagnosed with a genetic disorder, such as Down syndrome. The Christian worldview believes that all murder is wrong, and this includes taking another human being’s life. In Exodus 20:13, it says, â€Å"You shall not murder.† (NIV Rainbow Study Bible, 2017). God creates and gives life to all. Psalm 139: 13-16 â€Å"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.† (NIV Rainbow Study Bible, 2017). In Genesis 1:26 God created man in his image and likeness, so regardless of what anyone says, we are perfect in God’s eyes because he created every human being, and God does not make any mistakes. According to the Christian worldview, God cares about the worrying and problems that every human is going through (Sharpe, 2017).
